I got the urge last week to do a ribbon wreath for my front door and thanks to this gloomy Ohio weather, I was able to give the boys something to do rather than have a continuous wrestling match in the middle of my living room.
After a quick trip to Hobby Lobby, we came home with
- A 14" Wire Wreath
- 8 Spools Ribbon
- O-H-I-O Wood Letters
- Flower Wire
- Glue
- Glitter
You can use any size wreath and any color ribbon. I chose to do mine in Buckeye colors since you can be nothing but a Buckeye fan if you live anywhere close to my house. :-)
We trimmed the ribbon in 4-6 inch sections.
Then my awesome boys helped me knot them around the wire wreath.
We glued and glittered our O-H-I-O letters and attached them with flower wire. (I used craft glue but I think spray glue would be better so you could do additional layers. Mine need a second coat...) And its done! Such a cute and fun project!
It turned out so cute!!!
