No Bake Granola Bars

Last week we made these super yummy No Bake Granola Bars I just happened to find while pinning. Just writing this post is making me want to devour 1... or 10 right now.

The recipe is so easy. I had them made in about 10 minutes. I did substitute butterscotch chips since I was out of chocolate and they were still out of this world.

First mix 2 cups of Quick Cooking Oats and 1 cup of Rice Crispys in a medium bowl.

Then melt 1/4 cup Butter, 1/4 cup Honey, and 1/3 cup Brown Sugar in medium sauce pan.

Pour in 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla and bring to a rapid boil.

Then mix your butter and oat mixtures and press into a jelly roll pan. Top with chocolate or butterscotch chips, raisins, nuts, craisins, you name it! (if your pan is too large push to one side)

Allow to cool for 1 hour and slice into bars.

  1. Sounds delicious! We'll have to try these. Your smoothie recipes with the spinach were a huge it. I had to smile with delight that the girls were getting veggies and not even knowing it! Thanks for sharing. Melissa

  2. Those look so yummy. Have you seen the recipe for breakfast cookies? I've been tempted to make a batch for the kids instead of fruit bars & pop tarts in the morning.
