I thought I would share a few of our many ultrasound pictures today. I have already had more ultrasounds than all three of my other kids combined but I have to say I love it! Even the kids enjoy seeing the baby and how much he has grown since the last one.
Here is his little arm and fist up above his head.
We rarely get to see pictures of his face. I tell you this child hates the ultrasounds. As soon as they start he flips his little self over and the only thing we see is back and butt! But here is a picture of his tiny ear. Its so amazing to me how perfectly formed they are already.
And a little leg and foot. I love this one. It is one of my favorites.
We had a scare last week at this ultrasound. The doctor told us about a heart arrhythmia they had found apparently at the 20 week ultrasound. They had not mentioned anything to us until this ultrasound and recommended we go to Children's Hospital for a Fetal Echo. The results came back perfectly healthy and normal. No arrhythmia and no abnormalities! I couldn't be more thankful.
So here are the stats...
How Far Along: 28 weeks
Size of baby: 14.8 inches! About the size of a Chinese Cabbage.
Total Weight Gain: 20 lbs. Yay for staying put this week. Lol!
Maternity Clothes: Yes! I feel so much lower with this baby. I guess that's what 4 pregnancies does to those stomach muscles.
Gender: Baby Boy
Movement: Lots of it and sometimes painful. Even the doctors have commented how strong his kicks are!
Sleep: Seems to be better but that could be the lack of caffeine in my system too. :-)
What I miss: Bending comfortably. It is getting more and more difficult to get those boots on, pick up toys, and just move in general. I've never had a baby be this low so its a new experience!
Symptoms: I have a little bit of a temper. Pregnancy rage I guess??? Lol. I have to keep my self in check a lot.
What I’m looking forward to: Getting his room done! We were suppose to start the project this week but it seems to be getting away from us. Hopefully Sunday we have a few hours to get it started.
